Matching your experience to a title
What does the profile give me?
The title that matches what you have actually done, a realistic salary band for your target market, the company stage and size where that experience lands best, the other titles the same job gets posted under, and direct links to open roles in that function on GTM Radar.
What if my experience matches more than one title?
The tool says so rather than picking one. Matching two titles at a meaningful level usually means two separate search tracks with different messaging, not one search that tries to be both. Applying to both under the same framing is how strong candidates read as unfocused.
My title did not match what I actually did. Does that matter?
It is the reason this exists. The tool matches on the functions you owned rather than the title you carried, because titles in go-to-market drifted years ago. Someone who was called a Marketing Manager and ran the whole function should be searching against the scope, not the title.
Where do the salary bands come from?
Benchmark figures adjusted for stage and geography, with a cybersecurity premium applied because general benchmark sources are cross industry and sit below what security go-to-market roles clear. They are directional, for setting a target range rather than for accepting an offer.
Is anything I enter stored?
